Kangannynails

I was so excited to come here after seeing all the reviews and photos, but it turned into a weird situation that ended up ruining my day.. I don’t even know what to do with it. I’ll begin with the good parts. The salon is very clean, fresh tools are used and the drills looked maintained. Was very happy to see that! Bob did my nails. And I liked him right away because his name is really cool and he did an amazing job preparing and shaping my nails. But, it turned into a situation when it came to the design. I requested a design and while I initially told him what color I wanted, I wasn’t sure what design. Maybe a flower or something cool is what I said. He told me to search for a design online which I did immediately after. I happily decided on something different I liked and showed him the picture. Explained I wanted the design on the top, but under the nail I wanted a sheer shimmer color like a louboutin style since my nails are long. I saw that he started to apply the glitter on top of my nails and tried to correct it by speaking up before we committed further, but his response was "trust me". After being visibly upset during the whole process, I told him to leave the color as is because I just felt unheard at that point. I remember trying to mention it 2-3 times before I gave up. Perhaps it’s that I don’t speak Russian, and it was a simple communication error. But my man is in a bad mood because I was in a bad mood all day over this. So just overall, not a good day. The nails are beautifully done and I would be over the moon happy if I intentionally wanted glitter nails, but I only wanted glitter on the bottom. So I’m happy, but also simultaneously upset. Nonetheless, This place is truly amazing if you don’t have expectations. I think I just had a bad luck this time. Bob is great overall and the place is very nice, so I still highly recommend to others, but it’s a weird situation to find oneself in.

I’ve been there several times and always happy with the results. I’ve been with a few nail manicure specialists and they’re all good. They also have a nice view from their window at the salon 🙂 Thanks for the great work!

Nach einer langen Online-Suche bin ich auf dieses Nagelstudio gestoßen. Was meine Nägel angeht bin ich super perfektionistisch und den besten Standard von meinem Nagelstudio des Vertrauens in Deutschland gewohnt. Da ich mich aktuell für mehrere Monate im Ausland befinde blieb mir allerdings nichts anderes übrig als mich für diese Zeit anderweitig umzuschauen. Ich war fest überzeugt, dass die Nägel vielleicht schön werden, aber nicht so, wie ich das gewohnt bin (weil das bis jetzt in Asien leider immer der Fall war). Was soll ich sagen, ich wurde eines besseren belehrt. Meine Nägel sahen noch nie so gut aus, wie nach meinem Besuch bei Kangannynails. Super saubere Arbeit, ich kann euch dieses Studio nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Danke für die tolle Arbeit!

Such a cozy, clean studio with an amazing view on DDP! Anna was so friendly and did my nails so thoroughly, also she anticipated exactly what design I was looking for. Communication in fluent English. Very easy, foreigner-friendly online booking and easy to find. Highly recommended!
